Day 2 - PRACTICE

It is still crude work.  I am just trying to play around with temperatures, techniques and technical skills.  It is a start.  It will get better. 

Getting Started

A few years ago, I took an afternoon class in woodburning techniques.  In a short period of time, I managed to produce the following piece.

  

I thought this was a decent piece, just for an afternoon's work, and I was motivated to do more and so I bought this quality woodburning machine...I wanted to use good equipment, and not one of those cheap woodburning kits.

And there it sat for the last few years...until this morning, when I did this very crude sign, which will hopefully be my mantra for better things to come.
